Lodging Options

We are excited about the lodging at HoneyRock! Some of our best memories from WEA conferences are based on the after-session interactions and conversations; HoneyRock designed their facilities intentionally to drive and promote community. Our collaboration is a great fit, even when it comes to where you sleep!

HoneyRock's Onsite Lodging

All lodging, meals, housing, and conference spaces are contained within HoneyRock's central campus and within a 5-minute walk (unless otherwise noted).

The 'Standard' lodging option is a great choice for groups. All of the bunk rooms are very clean and modern with 5-10 bunks in each room. A separate bathroom is in each room as well. These rooms are located in the center of camp, just steps away from the central dining and meeting lodge, with views of the lake. Also adjacent is an outdoor campfire ring and other recreational opportunities.

The 'Premium' lodging is very limited and includes cozy cabins and apartment-style housing. The cabins all have shared bedrooms with some variation of paired twin beds or queen and twin. Each cabin also has cozy shared spaces with separate kitchen, dining and living rooms, with bathroom(s). See more details at www.wheaton.edu/honeyrock/about/cabin-rentals

  • Winter Cabins - There are 2 cabins available that each house 6 to 8 guests.
  • Riverfront Cottages - There are 2 cottages available that house 4 to 5 guests each. *Located 1 mile from the main camp. Car required.

A note about the Shared Bedrooms: In registration, you may request roommates. You can request a single roommate or multiple individuals (as your preferred space dictates) or large groups can request an entire space if available. *Premium lodging assignments will be offered on a space-available basis only. Space is limited and prices reflect multiple-occupancy. If you wish a private room, an additional surcharge will be applied. Private rooms include exclusive use of the bedroom and may or may not also include an attached bathroom. Additional details can be found in the registration portal or upon inquiry.

All efforts will be made to assign accommodations to match requests and to facilitate comfort in lodging. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the Conference Team or the HoneyRock Guest Services Team.

For housing concerns only, please contact [email protected], 715-479-7474.

While there are lodging options in the nearby town of Eagle River, we recommend staying at HoneyRock to maximize your conference experience as well as to reduce costs. HoneyRock's high-quality lodging is offered at significantly reduced rates to conference attendees! The drive to town is approximately 25 minutes, depending on the weather and road conditions. We recommend considering the wintery conditions when determining if offsite lodging will be your best option. Attendees staying in Offsite Accommodations can choose the 'No Lodging' option when registering. All conference events and all meals are still included in the 'No Lodging' registration fee.
