BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Wilderness Education Association is governed by a group of peer-elected directors that serve three-year terms. Our By-Laws dictate that elections are held annually with board terms beginning in June in conjunction with our fiscal year. An election ad hoc committee oversees the recruitment and vetting of candidates. Read more about the Board of Directors' Role and Elections and election process here.

The WEA also relies on Standing Committees and other volunteers and staff to advance the mission of the organization. Consider getting more involved.
